Digital Designer (Remote)

AdShare (UK-based) is looking for a self-motivated and dedicated Digital Designer to join our dynamic team as a contractor. Youll be a highly experienced digital designer with a strong eye for visual communication across various formats including email graphics, web banners, social media assets, and display ads. Experience with animation (GIFs/motion graphics) and designing for multi-platform campaigns is a must.

You will be:

• Comfortable working remotely and taking direction from UK-based project managers and the wider team.
• Able to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines, with excellent time management skills.
• Monitored using Hubstaff and communicated with via our preferred platforms.
• A fast learner with the ability to translate briefs into visually impactful assets.
• Available to work UK hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Essential Skills:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in a digital design role.
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
• Ability to design engaging creatives for Google Ads, email layouts, social media, and web banners.
• Experience in designing for desktop and mobile platforms with a strong understanding of responsive design principles (design only, not development).
• Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
• Skilled in exporting assets optimised for web use (lightweight and high quality).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confidence using AI-powered tools (e.g., for design, copy, asset generation) and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to emerging technologies.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with animation tools (GIF creation, motion graphics).
• Familiarity with tools like Bannersnack, Canva, or Figma.
• Previous experience working with UK charities or Muslim organisations.

Additional Requirements:

• Access to your own high-spec computer and reliable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with Hubstaff installed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design digital marketing assets across multiple platforms (email, web, ads, social).
• Produce high-quality, optimised creative work for use across campaigns.
• Stay updated with design trends to suggest and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc creative tasks and campaign needs.
• Occasionally report on campaign outcomes with visual recommendations.

What Youll Need:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a digital/marketing setting.
• Portfolio showcasing diverse video styles across platforms (please include links with your application).
• Access to your own high-spec laptop/PC and production/editing equipment.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Ability to work UK office hours (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm GMT).
• Willingness to use Hubstaff for time tracking and productivity monitoring as this is a mandatory requirement for all employees in the company.
