Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank statements with company records.
  • Investigate discrepancies between internal records and external statements (banks, vendors, etc.).
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately and timely recorded in the financial system.
  • Maintain detailed records of reconciliations performed and corrective actions taken.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal departments to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing reconciliation data and documentation.
  • Improve reconciliation procedures and recommend process enhancements.
  • Prepare reconciliation reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience (depending on the level of the role).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
