We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, and implementing security protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and software applications.
- Monitor and manage network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security.
- Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus solutions,
- Regularly monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with other IT staff and departments to ensure seamless integration of IT services and support.
- Ensure that all IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
